Songs for Cold Turkey Big Night 1

Hey guys hope all is going well! We are going to opening up service with Chainbreaker (A) by Charlie Hall. We've played this one before and the song is posted on an earlier post. After that we will have a 2 song set. We will open up with The Time Has Come (A) and then we will play Remain (D) by The Anthem.

Well will be also playing a small section of the Aqualung song "Pressure Suit" which is included on the blog. It's only a small section of the song but its the part we will be playing. We will slow it down a little bit to match the tempo of Remain. (in a nut shell, we will go into Aqualung after the "bridge" on remain [I shout is from my heart, part] and then go into the intro chords of Remain with the full band).

Clear as mud, right? ha, that's why we have practice at 5:30 though :)

You guys are great. I know this seems like a lot but it will be awesome. I heard a quote from a friend of Bill Hybels the other day say something awesome about excellence. He said, "Excellence honors God and inspires people." I hope we remember that this is a service that we are privileged to be a part of, which I think is a great honor! Hope all is going well with you guys, cant wait to see you all again on Wednesday.
