Finishing up October

Hey everyone!

Everything has been going great this month! Tonight (Oct 22), we have The Anthem leading worship which will give a lot of you guys a much deserved break. I was looking back at some old sets we played awhile back and realized we have really come a long way! Of course, it's not about how many new songs we're playing, but whether we are truly engaging people into worship.

Fuel this sunday

Hey everyone, just a reminder that we have Fuel meeting today at 4. I'm looking forward to it, it seems like its been forever! Hope everyone had a chance to listen to the new songs for this month. Hey everyone, hope you are all doing well. We are gonna open up service with a song from Jimmy Eat World that should be a lot of fun. I am including a link to the song on youtube and a chord chart. PLEASE have this somewhat ready for wednesday practice so we dont have to waste time going over it.

Above is the link to amazed. It's a little different than how we normally play it for sunday services. Its in the key of C#/Db. Im sorry I havent really messed around with it much so Im not sure if thats the key we will play it in. It will be in either C#/Db or Ab or E.

Again thank you guys. We are making big steps forward and I understand and appreciate the time you guys sacrifice for practice and staying involved. We really couldn't be doing all these new things if it wasn't for all your hard work! I am truly honored to be a part of such a great team!

Wednesday night (Oct 8)

Wow you guys did a great job on wednesday! It's great seeing how our team is growing a lot stronger. We had a pretty big set tonight with very little practice and I think everything went really well. Hopefully those cards the guys passed out get more of the team on this blog so we can really make major steps forward.

Thanks again for all you guys do! All the time you spend in practice at Emerge and at home as well as Fuel every month and Sundays and Wednesdays! You work is making all the difference in the team!

Sunday, Oct 5th 2008

Hey everyone, here are the songs that one of the teams will be playing on sunday. The team will be (Nate, Mary, Brandon Kelly, Craig, and Chris W). We dont have any charts for divine romance but he plays it in B on the record. Any charts you find that are written in C are right, he just tunes his guitar down a half step on the album but live he plays it in C. Ha clear as mud right? Im not sure what key we will play it in but I will let you guys know before sunday!
