Glorious Appearing Songs

Hey guys! One last gathering of 2009! It's going to be an incredible night. Here are the songs we will be doing with links to YouTube so you can hear the audio. Remember to PRACTICE the songs BEFORE Wednesday. Since I'm very sure many of you didn't practice before last week I will say again that Wednesday will be a rehearsal, not a practice so come prepared please.

Here are the songs in the order that we will play them:

Joy to the world - Tomlin YouTube Link

Look At You - My Morning Jacket YouTube Link

Deliver Me - David Crowder Band YouTube Link

His Glory Appears - Hillsong YouTube Link

Lift High - Fee YouTube Link

Thank you guys for a great year and I hope you all enjoy your break after this wednesday! And remember what we talked about last wednesday night, come expecting!

Love you guys!

Here is the set for wednesday. I cannot attach chord charts anymore but I will include what key the songs are in! there will also be a youtube video for each song for this week so PLEASE listen to it and LEARN your parts BEFORE wednesday rehearsal. The time on wednesday is for us to rehearse the songs together you are EXPECTED to know your parts before you get there!

Thanks guys!

The Middle (Jimmy Eat World) YouTube Video
-Key of D
-we will be playing this song till the solo so dont bother learning the solo or anything after

Your Name High (Hillsong) YouTube Video
-Key of A

Your Love Never Fails (Jesus Culture) YouTube Video
-Key of A (the video is in Bb)

Lead me to the Cross (Hillsong) YouTube Video

Thanks guys so much! I know we have played a couple of these songs before but still practice them. If you feel like you know the parts really well, then try to memorize them so we can stop having staring contests with our stands, ha

Blog Update

Hey everyone! Glad to see those of you who made it to FUEL last sunday! It was a great time and really good listening to Pastor Jeff Nordin. I hope all is going well with you guys! Keep seeking after God in everything you do. The future of Fuel is looking really great, but I need you guys to be praying with me on this. I believe that if God is the source of our ideas, they will thrive.

I love you guys! Awesome being able to rock out with all of you!

Welcome to 2009

Wow it's 2009 now! We've got some pretty big plans for the future of Emerge Youth Church this year. We are going to take everything to a whole new level and Craig and I are pretty excited about it.

There is one big change this year

PRACTICE STARTS AT 5PM!!!!!!!

That's right, we are moving practice to 5 now. Not to sound like a broken record, but 5 means 5! Not 5:20. So please be there on time, we cannot make changes without all of us moving in the same direction. You guys are all great and I think it would be a shame to not move forward with the gifts God has given us just because we are too lazy to be at practice on time.

I do love all of you guys! You guys are great and God has certainly blessed our team. Can't wait to see you guys again for the first Emerge service of 2009!

May God continue to bless you all
